Am I qualified to help you Sell or Buy a home?
I have been involved in Real Estate in one form or the other since 1978. I received my Real Estate license in Arizona one month after I graduated from college with a degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona. I owned my first home by age 25 and my first rental when I was 27. I went to work for my first home builder in 1982, and got my General Contractors License in Arizona in 1986. I built and sold my first two homes in 1986 and 1988, then moved to Oregon and received my General Contractors License in 1988. At that time I was one of two licensed women in the state of Oregon. During the next 11 years, I became President of the local Marion-Polk Home Builders Association. I served on State and National Committees and lobbied in Washington DC with Congress and Senate members on housing issues facing our country. All while building custom and speculative homes. I oversaw the Marion-Polk HBA build a House in a Week for the City of Salem, OR. I built 3 Tour Homes, one while pregnant, and even moving into an available speculative home when my personal home sold at 8 months pregnant. I then worked on developing a three phase subdivision while building my own personal home and raising my infant son on my own.
I have personally bought and sold over 13 homes, so that is over26 real estate transactions. This does not include the homes I built as a General Contractor, where I hired some of the best REALTORS® in Salem, OR.
